Deck LogSwim officiating hub

Terms & Conditions

Deck Log ("the service") is provided by therevstodd, llc ("we", "us"). By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms. If you are using Deck Log on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to agree on its behalf; otherwise you confirm you are of legal age to enter this agreement.

What Deck Log is

Deck Log is a tool for swim officials to organise meets, sessions, contacts, notes, rule books, certification dates and officiating-related expenses. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide tax, legal or professional advice, and totals it calculates are for your own reference — you are responsible for what you file or submit.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the service unlawfully, or for fraud, spam or harassment;
  • upload content you do not have the rights to, including copyrighted rule books you are not licensed to store;
  • interfere with the security of the service — no malware, probing, scraping or circumventing limits;
  • reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service.

Our intellectual property

We retain ownership of the service, its software, design and branding. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Deck Log under your plan. Content you add remains yours; you grant us the limited right to host and process it solely to provide the service to you.

Service level

We work to keep Deck Log available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the previous twelve months, and we exclude indirect or consequential loss (including lost profits, data or goodwill), except where liability cannot be excluded by law, such as fraud, death or personal injury.

Payment and subscriptions

Deck Log is offered with a free trial, after which continued use requires a paid yearly membership. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are handled by our reseller under Paddle's Buyer Terms. See our refund policy.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using Deck Log at any time. On termination you may export your data for a reasonable period, after which it may be deleted.

Indemnity, law and changes

You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your content, unlawful use or breach of these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, and disputes are subject to its courts. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in connection with a merger or acquisition. We may update these terms and will post the current version on this page.
